Shany,Just to clarify, editorial images are not just images that are newsworthy, although those types of images are included in the editorial category. Basically, editorial images are any images that might be used for non-commercial purposes.For example, if I wanted to write an article about soda in kids' diets, I might want a photo of a can of Coke to help illustrate it. That would be an editorial usage for a photo. A Coke can photo would never be accepted for commercial use because of the trademark issues. And a Coke can isn't something that's newsworthy, but still works as an editorial image.When you consider submitting an image as editorial, ask yourself what non-commercial use it might have. If it's something that might not be obvious to an editor, note it in the comments for the editor when you submit the image.
