Equipment: Nikon D70, Nikon D80, D300 with 18-70 Nikon zoom, 50mm Nikon F1.8, and Nikon 70-300 zoom Nikon F2 (used with Kodachrome 64 to take extensive slide collection) Nikon film scanner and EpsonPerfection V500 Photo flatbed
Favourite subjects: Western United States, landscapes with emphasis on tourist destinations in California and Colorado including national parks, national monuments, and public lands. Used to live in Los Angeles. Now reside in Western Colorado. 4-season views of rural subjects, red rock desert, and alpine scenery are readily available. I also write educational materials and am aware of the needs of such publications, especially elementary phonics and math.
Bio / Artistic statement
I love taking (and painting) pictures. It's like writing poetry. I have always done it. I aim the camera and when it feels right, I snap the shutter. I always make myself available to beauty.
