No... I did not take the images of the pistols with them laying on their side.
Before I submitted to or had even heard of Dreamstime I started with "C", they "claim" to have "very high standards". The funny thing is they would accept pictures that Dreamstime rejected, and Vice Versa. The even accepted pictures I would be embarrassed to submit now. After a year or so of dismal sales, I got tired of getting .25 for images, I had them delete all my files and went exclusively with Dreamstime. posted in Resubmitting refused images
It is my experience if an image is refused, that uploading it again several weeks or months later, the image will usually be accepted. In several cases from what I read on the forums and personal experience these images sell very well.
Often times when I get new editing software or a filter, or learn a new technique, I will go back through all my rejected images, and if I can improve them, I will definitely upload them again regardless of the reason for rejection (so far no rejections on any I have uploaded the second time).
Anyone interested in acceptance/rejection torture should try a certain stock photography company in Norway that starts with a C, you will never complain about Dreamstime again. posted in Resubmitting refused images
