Favourite subjects: Travel & tourism images of people & places including New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, Bali, Italy, France & the USA. Music - recording studio equipment, Jazz, R&B, Soul & Blues music themes, instruments and artists.
Bio / Artistic statement
I got the photography bug in 2002 when I purchased my first digital camera - a Casio point & shoot.
However I really became keen when in 2006 I bought my first DSLR - a second hand Nikon D70.
More recently I have made a light/soft box and now many of my images are musical instruments and recording equipment isolated on white backgrounds.
In the last year I have taken hundreds of photographs of my home town Christchurch, New Zealand and the damage caused by three devastating earthquakes.
