I didn't suggest you were a "dark hearted capitalist". We are all capitalists and I don't see that it makes us dark-hearted. However, it does seem likely that the transfer of sales from credits to short-term/low number subscriptions was undermining the earnings of the content providers who make heavy capital investments in equipment and props/expenses for their work. If people aren't willing to pay even $7 a day for a subscription, some of which has to go to the agency, how can they expect a steady supply of professional-quality images? I don't think there is anything contentious in the thought that artists have to eat. posted in Subscriptions update
