In the past, I have created hand drawn illustrations, scanned them and converted the lines in illustrator. My first attempts were rejected, due to bad conversions and imperfections in the line work. I also offer any images for free when they have had no sales for over year. When the image is released into the free section, I usually notice an increase in sales, obviously due to the extra exposure.
