I bought an ex-demo 5 in 1 heat press for AUD $850 and it has worked out to be great value for money.
I use an Epson 1410 for my sublimation printing using Sawgrass Inks and I am also having a few issues with colour reproduction on various products and so will look it to the Printfix Pro... thanks for the tip. posted in Sublimation & Heat Presses
I have both an Epson 1410 and 9880 printers and I am happy with both.
The 1410 produces fantastic photos, however, the cost of ink is quite pricey, especially if you have quite a few images to print out. I also use this printer with dye sublimation inks, using a second set of cartridges.
I use the larger printer for my canvas prints and when printing on an archival photo paper, again the results are stunning.
All in all, I would recommend buying an Epson printer, however, where the ink cost comes into the equation, the larger printers are more economical.
Oh and I forgot to mention, the 1410 comes with a CD tray, although, mine is still in its wrapper. posted in i want a new printer. lemme have some suggestions, please.
