It is so variable. Like Noonie, everytime I go outside for hiking, kayaking, etc, I have a camera with me. I shoot while doing family activities so it's joining the stock with the fun. Since I started stock, I have a hard time taking just pictures, I always think about what would sell best. It's a bit sad I think since I have trouble getting out of the stock photo mode but I so love to shoot. When I do some studio shoot, I rarely go over an hour since I shoot kids a lot and 1 hour is long for them. We always do it like it's a game though so we all have fun and I get some money out of it... lol. I hope they won't grow to fast and learn that I make money with them... hehe.
I tend to be lazy sometimes since it's not my day job. I could probably shoot a lot more in my homemade "studio". My models work for ice cream and chocolate. When I shoot, I usually try to process 5-20 photos in the following days and submit them. After a month or two, I submit another batch from the same shoot. I make a selection of the best photos from the shoot but do not submit them all at the same time. I don't know if it is a good idea or not (not enough stock experience) but logically, I think it is.
So... I could spend between 1 hour and 10 hours a week for stock but like many other here, I lose a lot of time on the F5 key instead of shooting more.
