There is no rule for a good camera. I wouldn't recommend you a SLR unless you are going to shoot with lights or studio equipment. They are not as essential as the hype says. My best sellers or even the SR-EL sales pictures are those clicked from normal compact cameras. My compact camera pictures sell far more than my SLR pictures.
