With the new pricing structure, Dreamstime is eliminating those of us that are loyal buyers that are not mega companies. DT may be 'one' of the best buys, but I can get best buys on credits anywhere. if DT is trying to run with ********/********/etc, they can go ahead and try, but in this saturated stock market, I can go anywhere and buy a credit. I've been doing this for years, and know the value of DT, yet the credits are expensive, and why buy them here when I can buy those anywhere? The draw of DT was the excellent pricing membership options that were offered. Sometimes I need 30 days of images, sometimes I only need a week. To those that asked about previous member options. There was an option for tghe buyer to choose the length of membership and the amount of downloads a day. example 30 days/ 10 /25/50 images a day (don't recall exact right now). The price paid of course would change accordingly. Now the least available is 239 a month subscription for up to 750 credits. The least is 8 credits for 9.99. Essentially, there is no middle road. Top those that do not know, price for photo depends on the level of the photo. With subscription, what you do not use in the time allotted, you lose totally, credits last forever. I've referred my clients here when they say they need a specific image, I say look at DT, it is price friendly, good quality. People have ********/******** on the brain, DT needs to be different and decide on a market instead of trying to be like other stock agencies. posted in new pricing model..boo!
