I realised the potential of digital photography as an art form in its own right.

I always aim to get a good picture from the outset, but I have editing software to fall back on if the image requires manipulation. The ability to manipulate digital photographs reduces cost and time. I see the use of editing software as an enhancement tool and a skill in its own right. It cannot be used to cover poor composition in the finished work.

I have always owned cameras of different types and became a digital convert four years ago.


I live in the UK with my wife Lis who is also a keen photographer.
