I'm getting these all the time too. I've had two this week, one of them worth more than $12. I've had them often in the past too, asked for explanation several times and never got a satisfying answer. And this is only happening with Dreamstime.
I'm not accusing anyone here, but it would sure be nice to see some kind of justificative document, like the original request from the credit card company.
The fact is, credit card issuers (i.e. banks) are insured against such losses, so they rarely if ever insist on good-faith sellers reimbursing the amounts for products they've already sold. In fact, I don't know of any example of this having happened.
If anyone unscrupulous behind DT were trying to siphon away money (and I'm not saying that's what's happening), this would be a good way to do it.
What I'm saying is that if DT is having this problem a lot, and if for some strange reason it is the only website to be affected in that way, then perhaps it should do a bit more than it does at present to explain to its contributors what's going on and dispell the kinds of doubts that are bound to creep up when something like that begins to reoccur with such depressing frequency. posted in Where do I find out about refund?
