Bio / Artistic statement
I love travelling to new destinations aiming to capture the essence of the people, place and time. I particularly like black and white photography in certain instances as it captures the mood and texture of the place or person. At other times colour is necessary to show the vibrancy, life and energy. Please have a look at my website if you would like to see more images.

Great blog. As a person that cares little for my gear and more for the photos - I've had my cameras soaked in waterfalls in Brazil, dropped them in mud in Rwanda and banged them against trees in Uganda, had then freeze in Iceland and Antarctica and boil in Qatar, get snorted on by elephants in South Africa, played with by squirrels in the US and all sorts of other things - I have three bags, very small only for a camera, backpack for most travel situations and wheely bag for the big jobs - there's no perfect bag, pack for the situation and remember it's the photos and stories that matter - the rest is just gear. posted in A Camera bag odyssey.
