I have few pictures got more than 5 downloads, why still in level 1? |

Stuart's given example is correct. The $ value of the credit will vary depending on the package purchased. For example, with the highest package available right now, the value of a credit is $0.83. It means that the minimum royalty per credit is $0.416 for non exclusives. Which means $0.416 for the new extra small size and about $0.83 to the web size you were used to receive $0.50 for. The value will be rounded to the closest match, indeed.

So, the royalty per credit will be:
9.99 package = 0.60 (exclusive), 0.50 (non exclusive)
19.99 package = 0.55, 0.45
49.99 package = 0.54, 0.45
99.99 package = 0.50, 0.42
Is this correct?

As Teekaygee pointed out though, the only time you would receive those amounts for a single download is when someone buys a new Level 1 Extra Small... any other sale will give you at least double the royalty (except subscriptions obviously).

I cannot wait for these changes to begin to go into effect. My percentage of earnings from DT is rising nicely. Dreamstime could very well become my leading earner after the new prices are introduced. |
