Hi, i just uploaded 5 files but the only option i get is to upload one file at a time!

Isent there a way to upload batches?

On another site i just joined i was able to upload 10 files at a time.

I belive i can upload more then 10 (at the other site) with the ftp upload~but i dont know how to use it yet.

But here at dreamstime i get no ther options.

Is there something im not seeing.

your help is greatly appreciated.

You'll need a FTP software to mass upload photos. The FTP settings can be found here: http://www.dreamstime.com/ftpinstructions/index.htm

Hope that helps!

You can also do FTP just using Windows Explorer...

Hi Dan,

Welcome to DT.
In order to upload using FTP you can install the "FireFTP" plugin (it's for free) for Firefox/Mozilla browsers. It's a program that is extremely simple to use. I use it to upload to all my stock agencies, and it works like a charm.

Good luck,
Paul.

Yes, FTP upload software is designed for windows. If you are using dial-up, I suggest that you set your files to upload when you will not be accessing the internet for anything else, as it will go considerably slow.

Me again, i think i just found the answer to my problem.

this is off the faq's area;

Where do I activate my FTP account?

You can activate your FTP access in your account's Management Area, in FTP Upload. Press the "Activate FTP" button to turn it on. This feature is available for users with at least one file available online.
write your text here

I have no files available yet.

I just posted this in case someone else has the same problem/question.

thanks again everyone your your help.

P.S. Im still interested how to do the windowes ftp?

It'll be much easier to walk you through it once you are able to activate it. Sorry :(
