Feature Upgrade: Statistics Area

Author Message
Message edited at 03/17/2009, 05:34:15 AM by Inganielsen
EDIT: sorry, solved problem myself.

But when I plot earnings against data base exposure the problem I mentioned above still remains. My exposure is of course 0% over all the time I'm contributor, which is not of much help. Perhaps this should be normalised somehow.

There seems to be a flaw/bug though:

I started in august 2008, but in all the averages, the months april through july are also taken into account. This was not the case on the old page.

Is it just a small bug on my account, or do others see a similar thing?

Martine

This is what I'm talking about. In the "last 12 months" statistics page, only the last 12 months are considered. In "quarterly" statistics page, also the month before the joining date are considered. So, we haven't real data (especially RPD) based on the months of activity. It' s simple to verify it (maybe it's not a general problem?): my total earnings/my total sales = RPD (different from the displayed RPD).

Bye, Rob.

Nice, I like bars. Chocolate would be better, tho.......

I suppose that the work on the site is why the numbers on my profile page don't match. Hope the largest is correct.

A suggestion:

The Database exposure will never be a very large number, not even for the biggest contributer. Maybe if it was multiplied by 100, it would fit better within the other values of the graph, and not just be a flat line on the bottom of the graph, as I guess it will be now for most contributors.

I really like the new graphs in the management area! Cool to have it all in one table, and quarterly too...

Two comments:

1. The database exposure over time is interesting, but the current numbers are sort of hard to make use of. If it was multiplied by 100 or 1000 it would have more resolution on the graph and in the chart (I have a thousand images and still see .02% over several months despite adding 400 photos to double my portfolio).

2. For exclusive contributors, the upload bonus is not included anywhere. The revenue line does not reflect your total revenue as reported in the Account Stats. Especially in the Quarterly view, it would be nice to have all income reported in one line.

Minor quibbles, though. I have lost nothing over the previous display, and really like having it all in one place.

Thanks for the update.

I have a question. How come my database exposure does not change from month to month? It remains the same from April 08 to present, even though my sales vary from month to month and my portfolio is getting bigger. Thanks in advance.

Because as your portfolio grows the database also grows... quite rapidly. Your database exposure will increase significantly if our portfolio's growth rate is higher than this of the whole database.

Very nice, but found an error.

With only sales selected, I get the error "Error! At least one option must be selected"

LOL - According to the graph, when I don't upload, my sales increase. Now that's encouraging..

Petar, thanks.

What is the difference between Database Exposure and Profile Exposure? What can I learn from these numbers?

I initially guessed that Database exposure was based on the popularity or downloads..., if it is still based on the portfolio size, then I still don't understand.
