Hi Pierdelune, I don't see why you can't try your image in the assignment. They seem to want seniors in lots of different scenarios. Hope this helps. Cheers Carol.

Do you need model releases or are these editorial?

I'm new here and would like to participate in this contest. What should I do? Where should I upload an image for the contest?

I already have several photos on Dreamstime that fit the assignment category.

Is there any way to submit these for the assignment through the website, without uploading them seperately again first?

Ajphotos ~ Not that I'm aware of, I think you have to re-upload them. I have some already approved images which I thought I would enter, but when I was ready to add them to the assignment I didn't discover any way to without a complete re-upload.

So, I didn't do it...

You have to reupload the image as new and, if accepted for the assignment, disable the old image. See Submit Assignments

They will be reviewed Claudio!

I probably shouldn't say this, but here goes.

Does anyone else think there are a lot of snapshots?

I've had an image accepted for this assignment, and I'm including my image in this statement too. My image was staged but it still LOOKS a bit snapshot-like. Not sure that the standard is particularly high this time around.

I'm really not being nasty, just that I think the assignments should be a notch above the standard database images, and I'm not sure that's the case here.

I do think some of the illustrations are exceptional however. I predict the winners will be illustrations!

Hi Claudio,

seems we are sitting in the same boat. I also still have some assignment images pending, but I'm quite sure they will be reviewed.

All the best,

And the winners are ... (drums beating, tension rising, more drums beating)

Third place, 200$ and a Dreamstime official tee go to Anke Van Wyk for

Senior man like Sherlock Holmes    (very Sherlock Holmes like, now I can say it was one of my favorites)

Second place, 400$ and a Dreamstime official tee go to Milan Kopcok for    Active biking senior    (keeping fit is always good)

And the winner of the first place, 1000$ and a Dreamstime official tee is Brad Calkins for    Reading to child    (we love it, very sweet and already in spirit of winter holidays)

Thanks to all participants and to Payoneer.
