There's a new entry from Achilles on the main page dated 10/14 that this is now live in red. Then it says "read more" in a link. When I click on it, it just takes me to this thread with nothing posted on that date for Achilles. Did I miss something somewhere? Or is the information somewhere else? |

It has been stated in this thread that a print will sell for the maximum size in credits - so you should get a lot more than $1, at least. Plus they don't get the file as far as I can tell. |

There is a nice pink tab now on the image details page. Between extended licenses and tools. |

It looks great!
Two problems however:
- when I hit 'change' (for changing the print size or poster/canvas option) I'm redirected to the DT home-page. Maybe a bug?
- What I really am missing is some info about shipping/costs. Are prices just inside US or worldwide? Are they included? Correct info in that would really be useful.
But other than that, great feature!
PS: now I really have to start blogging to get me the 88 credits I need for the canvas I want LOL |

I agree with all of this - for such a potentially great feature there are very few details. In my opinion it doesn't inspire buyers to purchase prints as the final cost and what you get for your money (postage, mount, quality etc) is not clear at all.

I like this new feature and feel that it is a natural outcome of having such a large database of pictures. The ease and simplicity of ordering a print is an added bonus.
I have no qualms about the pricing structure, as was pointed out earlier, it was always possible to download the picture file and then have a print made anyways.
I especially like the ability to crop the final product and zoom in or out to the customer's liking for the print. |

I think it is great to add new features .With new features will add new buyers also and if the buyers are happy to buy we ,contributors are happy to have sales:) |

@Martinedegraaf: we have fixed the problem with the "change" button and we clarified the issue of the shipping price: all shipping costs are included. There are further updates we're doing, but we did our best to get the product live asap. |

I don't think potential buyers of prints need to read the entire thread about a "feature to come." I would think it might turn them off. I'm assuming a new page is in progress that will explain further about these prints when the We Print splash box is clicked on? That would present this exciting new feature is a much better light.
I really think getting the presentation right before implementing it is the best way to go to insure future sales. |

Nice new feature to compete against other web sites with boring art.
i don't think specialized art column can add to the site.
it is cool like it is now, so everybody can get advantage of these feature.

We have added a short presentation of our prints. This presentation appears actually as a pop-up so it had to be brief, concise, answer as many questions as possible and attract buyers :). So behold, here is the Introduction or The short guide to Dreamstime prints:
Access the pop-up by simply clicking on the WE PRINT banner on the homepage or See the "About our products" link on the image details page/Oder print tab and tell us what you think :). |
