Thanks Achilles! As several others have already mentioned, I appreciate that DT is rewarding contributors while other sites are trending toward the opposite.

Happy holidays!

hmm..

i don't even get 2009 credits ! (all my sales are like "(2008)" in the credits column... any reason for that ? or will 2010 credits show up as "(2009)".

maybe new clients don't buy my stuff ?

Thanks. There are some nice changes here that I like to see.

re: the 2008/2009/2010 credits, since the credits didn't change in 2009, they are still called 2008 credits as far as reporting sales go. I look forward to starting to get the 2010 ones though.
I get a chance to use ...

Maybe I missed something but in my understanding only credits prices get higher, not our commission. For our commission it was quite opposite.

+1

The MSG people have a small present for DT too as most of us decided to opt out of the 0.25$ sub sales that some agents tried to make us swallow, out of concern not to undercut DT that still shows respect for its contributors.

The level system is still unique and it's good to see it thriving.

I really don't know what to say!

I'm slightly happy as a contributor & more sad as a buyer!

Now I might face crises in buying & start saving my precious credit in 2010...

Please don't raise the subscription as it's already a high price comparing to other sites!

Anyway all the best for DT & all of us!

Just a quick question, with the new levels will the current images that fall into a new level on the new scales be automatically updated to the higher level? As an example, if you currently have a level2 image with 11 downloads, with the new level category being 5-9 downloads for level2 and 10-24 DL for level 3, will an image at the current level2 rating be automatically updated to level 3 as it has 11 DL and would therefore fall into the new level3 category. If not how will these images be updated?

Level updates are applied for all images. Not only their credit value increases but the royalties percentage as well.

Their impact on buyers (as price increase) is smaller than the credit price update but matters for contributors (thanks to better royalties). On the other hand they allow buyers to adapt, just as subscriptions do.

Because these were brought up in the discussion, I would like to remind everyone that there was a subscription pricing update made a few months ago, when the royalties changed. Subscriptions will always be much cheaper than credits, but we are constantly keeping an eye on them, keeping the balance.

Thanks for your continuous support.
