Canon 50d sensor cleaning

i have had the 50d a month ago. should i enable the automatic sensor cleaning every time i turn the camera on and off? or its better to disable it and clean it manualy... i need your advice

I'd say leave it on and depending on how often you change lenses and use small aperture for shots you'll need to clean it manually every couple of months. It really depends on how and in what environment you use your camera.



Also, get a rocket blower and clean it simply with that every now and then - it helps against those big ugly particles that tend not to stick too strongly and will minimize your wet manual cleaning.

you mean to let the camera clean automaticaly every on and off even if i turn it off and on every half an hour, btw i rarely chanfe lenses... thanks

I have a Nikon D3000 with the same sensor cleaning ability. I've had it a couple months now and i leave it on. Hope this helps,
