I went from 50D to the 5DmkII. Totally do not regret it at all but I do miss the 1.6x crop factor and speed of the 50D. The 7D has Canon's new AF system in and is also very fast, faster than the 50D. But at the end of the day if you get a 5D and put L lenses on it IMHO you will not beat the quality it can produce without spending double the money again. Let us know how you get on :-) |

Tough call, especially with the 10-22mm.

In the end I decided to invest further and bought the 5D, exchanged my 10-22 for a 17-40, its an amazing setup, I just came back from a long trip and have a lot of work to do! |
