NEW SITE - EXCELLENT.
Design looks great, works great, quick(much quicker, in fact I had been contemplating a message to admin about site response; no need to now!), VERY SMOOTH transition.
Changed a lot but in such a way that everything is still right where I reach for it; still feels like I know where I'm at! Can't understand how thats happening really, very intuitive design for sure.
New licensing/pricing/etc didn't hurt my feelings either!

You don't need a special camera for the high resolution. We will include only 2 versions at this stage so all contributors will qualify.
W- web size (resized by our system automatically)
P - the submitted file (min. 2MP for old files, min. 3MP for the files submitted now)

Thanks for the info on the high resolution.
I sort of panicked initially thinking, no, Ill have to upgrade the camera yet again! Not that I wouldnt fancy a 12 or 17 million pixel affair, but Ive only had my "little" 8mp one for a year!
I can breathe easy for a bit longer by the looks of it.

It's difficult to select the same photographer twice considering that we have so many talented photographers that also need exposure. Hundreds of photographers are joining weekly. It's competition so we want to give everyone their share.

Yes noticed the wonderful diversity, and also people selected with more modest amounts of images ....
this is so refreshing and encouraging for those trying to build their Portfolio as well as the more established contributor :D

Everything seems so spic and span, but the site ....seems... soo.... sloooow!!!!!
Is it just me?! and It keeps on cutting out very now and again! I have gone down to uploading 1 at a time, because It will run for 40 minutes with ten, and then just give a page cannot be found...
When do you think FTP will be an option?!?! |
