Achilles, could admins comment on the following.
Two weeks ago I have reported (or should I say "flagged"?) four images for the keywords which I am sure are irrelevant for those images. Nothing has happened as a result, no keywords have been removed, and I have not yet received any comment from the authors or DT reviewers. It looks like my reports went nowhere. Or does it take THAT LONG to review keyword reports?
It is not that I am eager to get those 2 cents per report (although it would be nice, of course). But I am actually eager to see that the flagging/reporting system works as it is supposed to. Just to justify that I reported responsibly, I won't of course reveal the image ID's but in all cases it was about using extra colours to those present, like a very simple violet background having "orange" and "yellow" as keywords, and such. Plus there were other "conceptual" keywords which *certainly* did not belong to those images (I presume the authors simply re-populated all the fields from their earlier images).
On a similar note, when I tried to suggest keywords for a few images with too short keyword lists (about a month ago), also nothing happened. Again, I did not do it just for fun or trying to get those 2 cents (although it would be nice, of course), I wanted to see if the system works, so I made very responsible and reasonable choices for my 10 keyword suggestions (in contrast to some of my own images, if you would be inclined to assume that I was about to add words for harvesting on the distribution tails, NO).
I would really appreciate your comments on my tests. |

One time I suggest also for irrelevant keyword of an image, but it seem to me that nothing happened.
I also received a flag for a my image relative to a supposed irrelevat keyword. As I didn't agree such flag becouse for me the keyword was highly appropriated, I answered with a comment, but also in such case nothing occurred. |

As someone who does this all the time I can tell you that it's often ignored. If it's really bad you can follow up by contacting support, and that gets action fast.
As I've been saying, the system is broken, and it needs to be fixed. |

Agreed!
Phbyerly, getting to support with every single report is not the right way of doing it. So, yes, the system does not work really. |
