We got a picture accepted. The picture is titled "alligators and turtle" and has "alligators" and "turtle" listed as keywords. When I type "alligators" or even "alligators" and "turtle" into the keyword search, my picture isn't coming up. What is happening? How do I get my picture to come up so people can see it? |

Just be patient. I recently had my first picture accepted and had a similar problem. It is normal for a small delay before it shows on the main site. Mine took a day or 2.

It has been over a week for some of mine and they are still not showing up, even when I search for the exact title. Other images uploaded at the same time show up. This normal?

Its not normal, but it happens often, is the only complain I have of DT, they take too long to index the search engine.
I know its hard, DT database is huge with more than 14million images, but is something they should work on.
You can tweet your approvals, this help them to be indexed by the search engines, google, bing, yahoo, etc..., if somebody looks for an image outside DT, they will find it. |
