who can tell me what is the reason?
the number of view is not reflected immediately on DT webpage?

Your views for your own images are not usually counted. This is why the number of views does not increase if you refresh the page or logout and login again.

If you are viewing other people's images, then there may be a very small delay in updating the number.

thanks for your explanation, Tangie.
but i have another question about view count.
that is sometimes the count of the image rises very suddenly. for example, from 0 to 39 or more just in one or half day, but for a long time, the count is stable.

i wonder if the count is reflected correctly?
are there really 39 viewers to view the image together during half day? and why for a long time it is stable?
or does DT promote the count of view for some reasons?

is there any delay for the view count displaying on the webpage?
if any, how long?

I have also noticed such things. For example, an image shared on Twitter gets 10 views immediately.

And in many cases, the count usually increases +5.
Like day 1: 0 and day 4 may suddenly be 15 or 5, almost always happens with me. So I like to divide total views by 5 to get "views that matter".
So 100 views = 20 "genuine views" for me. :P

There are bots and spiders of search engines that visit the pages on internet. In simple words, they visit page and create a database for later usage. I think this may be the cause of those instant 30-40 views and the silence.

I sometimes have images approved with instant 10-15 views. I don't think these are important issues, but one wants to know what's going on, I understand :))

The more you share your works on internet, the more bots and spiders will visit your page and your ranking will get higher on the search engines, hence someone will buy your image.
