I have yet to see any of the $2 sales, but will be happy to have those over .35- .42 sub sales I've been getting a lot of lately.

I have faith in you, I believe the buyers do too, your constant sales reflected that well.

I support Achilles and DT, so whatever they have planned i will just roll with it. I believe that in the long run the contributor that can be exclusive at DT with thousands of great images will make a ton of money... i'd better get to work on that last part :) my 70-200 L lens is on the way via U.S. postal service... it is not new, it's from my mentor, she bought a new 70-200 version 2 and sold me hers for so low a price that i can't believe she did that for me. And i used it in training so I know it is perfect. Sorry to ramble but I'm just totally excited to finally be almost ready to put all of the pieces of the puzzle together and start producing some REAL stock photography !!!!

you don't need a 70-200 to produce some REAL stock photography, a cheap 50mm is more than enough :)

Definitely off topic, but you'll need one of these (this is a great, tongue-in-cheek review!): http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-70-200mm-f-4.0-L-USM-Lens-Mug-Review.aspx

[quote] We`re therefore announcing two new type of plans that grant the ease of use of subscriptions, while awarding a better royalty to the contributors than the regular subs.

Going back to the original topic from Achilles.

Since this announcement was made my last sales this month 13 in total 12 were subs, one being a TIFF sale for 0.38 cents and my first TIFF sale I may add. and 1 small credit sale.

In previous months I was getting a lot more credit sales (and good ones at that) than subs.

I for one can see no easing of subs sales and getting 0.38 for a Tiff being an exclusive photographer is so disappointing!

Still waiting for one of these 2.20 subs! I could live with seeing these numbers in my accounts but to see day after day 0.38 sales and 0.42 sales as an exclusive photographer and a my first TIFF sale being 0.38 is soul destroying!

I understand its still early days and August is a bad month but I do hope things will change for the better.

Moan over!
have a great weekend everyone!

Maybe we should limit the size and resolution of our current subscription sales that can be downloaded? So those who want the high resolution coy can pay more.

A Poor world, Poor World.

Oceans in despair
There's rubbish everywhere
The seaweed chokes in mud
Nature's had her lot
With nuclear waste and rot
And mushrooms bloom as clouds.

Where will this lead to
and what is this good for?
Poor world, is hurting bad,
poor world, is doomed to die.
