Hi friends :)
Can somebody tell me the ratio of sales between EPS and JPEG files? I am tkinking about uploading EPS files of my illustrations, but sometimes my EPS files aren't true vector (shadows etc.) I want to know if it is good to upload the EPS files, if the sales are better with EPS uploaded. So if I should make EPS like true vector in the future. Thanks :)

Of course sales are better if you also offer the eps version. Vectors are becoming more and more popular.

You can't sell it if you don't upload it.

Paintpixel I saw your portfolio. Maybe your sales were only of JPEG files because of the pictures what you have sold. I looked at them... They don't need no more editing - they are ready for use. They have for example 36MPIX - so the buyer can be satisfied without vector. I think it is the reason of your Jpeg sales. I've got PC full of illustrations which need some editing before use. That is why I am thinking about the EPS files. But to create "real vector" is a little bit harder and take a longer time than use shadows, opacity etc...

Hmm, could be, never thought of that before. Thanks for the insight. You asked an interesting question now I'm wondering how others' eps sales compare to jpg

I was just looking at my sales, and my ratio of jpeg versus vector sales is about 50/50. The format that bring the most revenue is vector by a wide margin. I will get the occasional high resolution jpeg download, but I also get more non-subscription vector downloads.
