The only Photoshop in that photo was the text on the window...everything else is original. The door is painted green on one side, and it has that nice varnish on the other side. I had this image sitting in my head for about 4 months while I tried to find the perfect door. Finally found this one on eBay.

Nice image, very realistic looking, and certainly different from the crowd! From a newbie's eye, I found the light on the bottom of the door distracted me a little, but I think the clear wood grain that it brings out helps the realism.

Also was happy to show my wife that I am not the only one who takes the kitchen sink out of the counter and turns it upside down to use as a base to hold my paper clip for that special shot of the end of a piece of wire though :)!! This stuff does seem to require some engineering!
