LOL. You all are okay.
Life is like a drive on a highway, you have to take occasionally a glance behind you, just to be sure you don't harm anyone when you switch lane, speed up, slow down or do some other funny things, while getting to know your car and acquiring the skills of driving. And even if you think you're driving too slow, you can see, how far you already are from the point you started. That's a great feeling. :) |

Woohoooo - second payout amount. First was on August 1 after 10 months. The second, today - a month and a half later. WOW - the second really does come faster (though I didn't expect it to be this fast)!

Although I haven't had the best equipment to work with, which has caused many rejections, I finally got my hands on a Canon. I always keep the assignments at the forefront of my mind when I am out and about or setting things up in my makeshift studio (which consists of two cheap strobes with umbrellas and a white sheet of Muslin clothspinned up in my garage). When I was at a friends house, my kids were raking up the fall leaves with their toy tools and I immediately thought: WOW what dramatic lighting and perfect theme for the assignment. What I didn't expect was to see it show up in my profile as an editor's choice! I am so honored. I know many great photographers who have plenty of editor's choice images in their portfolio's, but I am beaming from ear to ear to finally achieve that status. Thanks DT! You made my week! |

Congratulations! ...and congratulations for getting an image approved to the assignment area - I've noticed from the archives that the photos accepted for the assignment are only about 20% of the total submissions. That is truly an accomplishment in itself! |

Hi everyone,
Just to introduce myself as a new member. I found DT last week and immediately uploaded what I had at hand...maybe 8 or 9 shots. I've been waiting all week and have found that 2 or 3 have been accepted!
Can't wait to go out this weekend and get a lot more that fit the profile of this kind of photography

Hooray! I have to confess to feeling a certain amount of relief at now having to only monitor and upload to one agency, should save a lot of time in the evenings after work!

wow i just logged on to see this one had sold again. 3 times in 12 days!!! 2 prints 1 web..may not seem like much to some who have big sales but this past month has been my best one, still haven't gotten my camera but i am starting to try graphics and have submitted two. |
