Comments Flashing?!

Sdominick
My comments have been flashing all day even though I viewed the new comments this morning. What's up with that? :)

It happened the same to me today. I think that if you click on "View all messages" it switches off the blinking. But was it already like that or there's something wrong with it just today?

Hey, thanks! I just tried the "view all messages" on the latest comment and that seems to have finally stopped it!

Clicking "view all messages" doesn't stop the dithering and dithering here ... makes me nervous ;o)

I think they are stopped once you refresh the page or access it again. We had to change that because if you would receive more comments, the older ones might get lost down the list.

We will try to fix that flashing by accessing the message in a different way. Thanks for notifying us about this.

Sorry, but it doesn't help. Not clicking "view all messages", not refreshing, not emptying the cache, not accessing again - its still dithering and dithering ...

Try to logout, erase cookies, restart computer and login again.

I just did a test and it stops if you click reply or view all messages.

Knips, visit the comments area and hit reply or read more... it was fixed in the meantime, I forgot to post a message here.

Once you receive a comment, the button starts flashing, like before. You check the comments section and for reading the full comment, you have to hit read more. That will mark the message as read and will stop the flashing. If another message is waiting for you to be read, flashing will still occur.

Hitting the reply link will also stop it.

Thx, now it works. Had to follow your advice for all comments coming in since the dithering appeared. Now there's peace and calm again in my virtual home - how tranquilizing!
