Aloha...

I just uploaded three horizontal photos of homeless people.

One shows only the worn soles of an old man's feet as he sleeps in a long cardboard box between a hedge and a brick wall in a park.

One is a couple sleeping on the beach.

And the third is a tidy homeless woman sitting on a bench, looking over the water toward Waikiki.

All are waiting for approval.

Do you have a deadline for this request? What will the photos be used for?

Much success...

Hi Tanalee,

Thanks for uploading some photos. I am trying to build a presentation that increases awareness of the daily lives of homeless people. I don't have a deadline per se but I am working on it as image become available.

I am in need of 20 -30 quality shots that are emotionally strong images.

Ps. I like your shot of the man's feet.

I don't know if this will help you but I have about 8 photos pending that only show hands, plates and people serving from a Soup and Sandwich kitchen to aid homeless and others unable to cope.

Variety of angles, I did not want to scare any of them and the church was happy for me to do it but agaun no faces.

Aloha...

Another one of mine was just approved. It's of a homeless man sleeping on the beach seemingly with no one else around.

I realize it might not meet your need of emotionally strong images, though. I guess it's a matter of what pulls your viewer's heart strings.

Thanks for the post about what you're looking for.
