Hi Michel, would you explain how the rating works ? from get go we get 2.50 it seems, but then...? Just curious. Thanks! |

Hi Cathy,
Thank you for your question.
I thought I would give everyone a rating of 2,5 when they sign up.
Else if someone gets only one vote - for example 1 star - his rating looks terrible, but only because of one vote.
So thats why i thought i would give everyone a fair start with a 2,5 rating.
Sorry for my bad english. Hope I explained it well enough :)

Another question: What are you going to do to promote your website except adding it to different search engines? Any advertisement elsewhere?

Hello Anke,
I'm going to start with the searchengines. I'm not sure about advertising, cause advertising costs money. And at the moment money isn't something I have plenty of :)
I'm always open for suggestions.

Okay, I signed up. Now I am on this linklist... in some days between hundrets of other photographers. Nobody can't search for anything. Don't you think that (at least) a search engine for a specific country should be added? Or something similar? |

Hi roxana, i'm really sorry Cuba wasn't on the list. I have no idea why it wasn't.
I've added it directly to the country list.
Thank you Freezingpictures... it is a great idea if people link it in their website, that sure will be good for the searchengines.
I've made a possibility for members to link directly to their portfolio. Just put this after the url: ?id=you_dreamstime_username
For example: http://www.promotographer.com?id=Freezingpictures
Everyone can do that. Just put your dreamstime username in the link.
Maybe later you will find some banners in your 'account' which people can use.
Thanks to Anke i'm also busy with a system where visitors can find their type of photographer they like. More info on that later. |

Hello Sandy. It's really easy. If you're logged in on promotographer.com you can click: Account
There you can add the photos.
Simply copy the referral link from your Dreamstime photo, and add it in the specified form in your account.
(You find the referral link on the left side of the page of a photo)
