I don't really understand the concern or the complaints... it even says in the news on the dreamstime homepage that there's an evergrowing no of submissions at the moment, resulting in contributor limitations re uploads... of course this will translate to an increase in review time also.
Just because uploads go up, that doesn't mean that sales do also. DT pay photographers based on sales... I don't really see how complaining about they way they go about business is appropriate on the forums.

I don't think my comment was a much of a scathing complaint. Review times not to long ago were in the order of say 3-5 days sometimes it would go up to 7-10 days. Have submissions increased by 3x ? Especially for editorial images review times are sometimes important.
Hey dreamstime is good, The limits for uploading are always more photos than i can produce. Uploading is easy, I was just asking for some info.

It's the weekend and Mother's Day. Maybe we'll have some kind of an answer tomorrow - well, now it IS tomorrow! I just uploaded some, too, with the same response of 26 days. The bug still seems to be around, but let's hear what they have to tell us. |

The pending time stayed as last week. It seems that these distortions in the ETR show up during weekends and are related to the different character of batches uploading during these days. We are trying to improve the accuracy of the scripts, so the ETR stays accurate while taking into account slower weekend review. |

The pending time of my images was about 300h last weekend, but it's n/a today. Was the system cured? |

Yes, it was fixed, however, we will not know how it will react during weekend time. We're still monitoring this during the week and next weekends. Will keep you posted. |

Apparently it's not entirely fixed. As of right now, my approval time, on eight images posted three days ago, is between 223 hours and 309 hours.
I hope this situation doesn't indicate a larger systemic issue with DT. This is a great site. |

I think the ETR is capped at 127 but be patient and you will see it drop. Mine did and eventually all my images got reviewed. I would rather the reviewers take their time than dump all my images!! Not that they ever did!! Not here for sure. |

ETR on editorial image is not so accurate. Editorial images are being reviewed in that section as I am writing this. |

The best way to look at this:
Just be patient ! Way too may images are being submitted & DT does the best they can depending on current volume. Wait times vary and sometimes you will find your work getting approved the same day you uploaded it. What's a few days more anyway ? With over 6 million images on-line, your chances of selling anything that quickly are miniscule... |
