good feature.
Most of the time hit it right, but my last image downloaded:
imageid=3180709 had the keyword 3756671......??????
The image title is together and represent a bunch of hands.
I mean what keyword is this ...3756671.....?
Now a bit confused :-)

Lucian, if you read the earlier posts with similar questions you'll notice that it may just as well be one of those rare cases. A contributor searched by ID (that other ID number you mentioned), then browsed manually and bought your photo. |

Thank you DT; very interesting feature for now and I'm sure I will figure out how to learn from it shortly.
I'm seeing one thing already ... being at the front of the search results is a bit over-rated. Looking thru a couple of mine, the image that was purchased was pretty deeply buried ... the buyer was apparently willing to look thru a lot of pages to find what they really wanted. Of course being at the front helps, but I see now that buyers to take the time to look thru at least in some cases.

I don't know for sure - but perhaps someone was looking for your portfolio and (I've done this often) first searched from your name under keywords without success - then they used the photographer database to find you and visually found an image they were after. |

thanks, you are most likely right - a few of those strangely-keyworded sales follow each other, so it's probably browsing port after initial unsuccessful search by kw :) |
