Recently I have encounted difficulties in adding newly accepted images into collections. This is minor problem of site interface but it could be eliminated easily.
Contributors have two pages where list of images could be seen:
http://www.dreamstime.com/uploads
and
http://www.dreamstime.com/onlinefiles.php
(BTW, these pages are identical, so one URL is redundant).
The line in the table list presents one image and has three links to the edit page http://www.dreamstime.com/modify.php?imageid=XXXXXXX:
- Thumbnail
- Title
- Button 'Edit'
I propose make Thumbnail a link to image view page, rather than edit page. This enhancement will make it much easier for contributor to
(1) see how page looks for buyers
(2) quickly add the image to collections using dedicated controls.
Another solution to the problem is inserting in image edit page dedicated controls for adding to collections.

There is a workaround I have found. While on the image list I can copy Image ID and paste it in the search field. Then the search put me directly on the image view page. Though this is still inconvenient and generates excess traffic and server load on the site.
The same problem exists on the collection image list. There I can reach image view page with 3 links, but no one link to reach edit image page. Would be nice to have one.
I hope that my propositions will help to make overall excellent site interface slightly better. |

We took your advice and eliminated one of the URLs linking to on-line files. Also, we changed some of the links on the collections management page, making it a little more intuitive and easier to use. Thank you for your suggestions. |
