Very Nice article! Believe me I was planning to write a blog on the same issue & very soon will do. If you search within my portfolio with word poverty you will not get a single image. This is not just by coincidence but I don't like to put the only negative side up.

Heartiest Congratulations for your article Boughn.

With this I also hope more and more Photographers and Artist should be drawn to DT. India has the finest and the best talented Photographers, Visualizers and Ad Designers amongst the world. We in India create world's best ads and TV Commercials. We have world's most beautiful female models.

In this era of stock imaging, representation of Indian Talents and their images are very less on DT. I would request DT to approach Indian Market in a big way.

"Wellness tours and travel that combines medical procedures with a recovery at a spa are gaining in popularity and potential as India becomes a major global health destination." I find this pretty funny actually. I am a US citizen and will be traveling to Mumbai next month on business. I was required to have four vaccinations. India still has wild Polio virus and a witches brew of others bugs. I was also given malaria pills to take daily as a prophylaxis while there. Not the kind of place I would think of as a health resort destination!

Very good article, let me know more about today's India. India is our Chinese neighbour, our two countries are all ancient civilized countries in the world. It is the beautiful song in film and film that India leaves the deepest impression on me. I hope China and India maintain harmonious and friendly relationships, the progress together.

This is common when you travel abroad. I take vaccination when I am go to America or Europe or any other Asian or African country. This is because of climate, water and food changes. I have seen many outsiders which do not take such kind of precautions and still return home fit and fine. I think we both are not so tough. Regards, RAJHANS

Hey guess what even I had the same opinion why people think India is poor, Well being a Indian myself I guess we all should write and make people aware of our modern India. Few things here Can you believe we have our own Formula One Team, We make more films than Hollywood, We had few Miss Worlds and Miss Universe, Taj Mahal is one of the Wonders of The World, And our ads are considered one of the best in the world. I can write many here, But truly Mere Bharath Mahan

India is damn great. I am proud to be Indian. India is perhaps the only country with almost more than 10000 cultural varieties. In the coming years it is going to take quantum leap and then there will be colossal changes in life style of urban as well as rural people. As of today the rustic charm still prevails. But this country presents inexhaustible material to any photographer.
