would you help a newbie here???
Hi,,,I'm a newbie in DT. a university student from Indonesia.
I dont have any camera to make a beautiful object. Only a little experiance and skill in designing. But I want make money in this community, in additional to dispense my hobby.
What kind of image should I made to make a good offer for other member so they will interest in my design????

That will be helpfull.
But main thing in DT is "Have Fun" , create a lot of your photos or illustrations, and believe me, it will attract buyer somehow.

Hi Yogi,
Your images so far look great. I always say that when DT accepts your image, then it must have some commercial value. The key to more sales is to have a large portfolio. Don't focus on sales, but rather on producing images that will be accepted by DT. The sales will come automatically, better yet, sales tend to grow "exponentially" as your portfolio size increases and you start to better now what is a good stock image.

Try and create images that can be used in advertising. Look through magazines and see what sort of images are being used.

i agree, keep your eyes open everywhere you go, ads on TV, in magazines, newspapers, billboards, restaurant menus, websites etc.. for the type of images and symbols that are being used, and then get to work and be creative!!
your portfolio looks great so far! i like this one!  |
