The most important creatures of the Himmapan forest which is a Thai legend is probably the Garuda. Garuda is the king of birds, half-man and half-bird, the vehicle of Vishnu, a Hindu God. This Garuda is located at Grand Palace which is undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark.
