Canon 5D Mk111 with a Canon 5D Mk11 as my backup camera. Plus a wide range of Canon lenses and accessories from 15mm fisheye to 500mm telephoto. I also have a 90mm tilt/shift lens which is really useful for studio tabletop work and architectural photography. In the studio I use mostly Elinchrom lighting equipment.
My purpose built 900 sq.ft studio and office are very well equipped and my computers and laptops are all "high-end" Apple Mac Pro running Photoshop CS6 and Adobe RAW.
Every image is meticulously retouched and corrected to the highest standards. I make a continual investment in new technology and have a 100% digital workflow. |

Worldwide Travel, Wildlife & Nature, Science & Technology, Medical, Food & Drink, Ideas & Concepts, Architecture, Business, Industry, Macro. |

I was a professional Industrial / Commercial photographer for over 26 years, before retiring from commissioned work to become a full-time 'Stock' Photographer. Since early 2001 I have earned my entire income from shooting 'Stock' images. Unfortunately, any 'power' that contributors have is so spread out amongst hundreds of thousands of contributors over hundreds of stock agencies, that it is very diluted. Trying to get thousands of contributors working together to force the industry to change is, I fear, a non-starter.
I think the majority of the public worldwide (and many businesses too) have little knowledge about copyright and care even less. I think this is especially true of young people who have grown up with the internet, seeing images everywhere. Many seem to have a 'if it's on the net it's free' attitude. The proliferation of 'Free' images by microstock agencies just helps to reinforce this belief and devalue our work even more. posted in My view on shooting for STOCK
