Pilgrims gather in thousands at the pilgrimmage of Alandi near the city of Pune in India. The people live in tents and gather in groups under the tent of their leader and sing BHAJANS (Devotional songs) together. They dance with it sometimes. Seen in this picture is a get-together of one of the group of the pilgrims before their dinner singing BHAJANS

The pilgrims walk hundreds of miles barefooted to visit the place on this auspicious day.
