Timor is a remote island in Indonesia. Its west part belongs to Indonesia, whereas the East part became an independent country in 2002 after a civil war. This hut belongs to people living near Boti village. The people use two types of huts, a rectangle hut and a beehive hut (at the picture). Boti is an isolated village in the mountains, where people still follow animists rituals. People speak here their own language.
