The Three Day equestrian competition is the cornerstone attracting up to 30000 spectators consisting of dressage, cross-country and show jumping. Recognised for its skill, fast-paced action and healthy rural image, the Moscow Three Day Event offers three days of direct access to not only a large corporate audience but also families and visitors from around the country and overseas. The Three Day Event competition is divided into classes according to the varying levels of difficulty presented by the class course. The CCI (Concourse Compete Internationale) classes are international rankings attributed to courses of a set degree of difficulty. The highest class at the Three Day Event is the 3 star. The 3 star is an international standard, with only Badminton, Burghley, Adelaide, Kentucky, the Olympics and the World Equestrian Games (held every four years) ranking as 4 star. The Young Rider class is highly competitive and features the champions of today and the future. It is an Under-21 category. At this event young riders will compete either in the CCI*** or CCI** class and will accumulate points dependent on their final placing.
