Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurant, a regional restaurant chain, originally called Frisch’s Cafe, opened in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1905. In 1948, it became Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurant with the “Big Boy” double-decker hamburger with homemade tartar sauce as its famous burger. Today there are over ninety restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
