Description:
The Museum is located in a historical building that was built in 1916.The building originally served as the Tainan District Hall during the Japanese Colonial Period.The condition of the building deteriorated,however,as it passed through World War II and different caretakers.Restoration of the building began in 1997 and was completed in 2003.Consequently,the Museum has became an important example of how historical landmarks can be restored and then reused,and it demonstrates how literture,culture and history can be united.
