An oil slick in the waters of the ocean creates a rainbow pattern and abstract effect. Could be used to illustrate pollution, industrial accidents, patterns, textures and more.

A rather colorful and iridescent display of oil on the ocean surface. I took this photograph at the U.S.S Arizona memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I mention this, as the story is quite fascinating. This oil is literally from the downed ship and to this day, still seeps to the surface.
