Crash of a P2V-5 outside of Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield, Colorado on Saturday, June 26, 2010. The air tanker, based out of Missoula, Montana, was helping to fight a wildfire in Rocky Mountain National Park. It's believed that the plane experienced hydraulic failure during the landing. The plane went off the runway and crashed through a fence surrounding the airport before coming to rest on an embankment and road. The crew members survived the crash.
