Much beloved pop singing icon, the late Whitney Houston was given a unique honor at Madame Tussauds in New York City on February 7, 2013. Four different figures were unveiled in a ceremony attended by members of her family and the media. One will remain in New York, and others will be installed in Hollywood, Las Vegas and Washington, DC. This one, bound for Tinseltown, This particular mannequin recreates Houston's role of Rachel Marron in the film, The Bodyguard. She wears a replica of the chromed-silver Queen of the Night costume.
