Pepsi and Coca Cola compete with each other for local markets all over the world. Coca Cola appears to be more popular on African continent but here in Cape Coast, a coastal touristic town in Southern Ghana, a street bar welcomes customers with Pepsi colours. Simultaneously the bar displays Coca Cola advertisements that cover parts of the Pepsi colouration. Street bars that sell local food and offer refreshments are popular in Ghana. People come here to eat fufu, a Central African traditional dish made from boiled and mashed starchy roots and served with different sauces.
