From the start it all went wrong for Aalborg DH, who quickly was behind with 8 goals in just 15 minutes. In the remainder of the first half, Aalborg DH reduced FCM's lead and went to the break with the score 9-14.

But the home team never managed to get back into match against a well playing FCM Handball who won the match. The final score was 22-33.
