Redbox is an American company rents DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, and video games via red automated retail kiosks. Redbox currently has over 33,000 kiosks in over 27,800 locations in the US and Canada.
The kiosks are located at grocery stores, pharmacies, mass retailers, convenience stores, and fast food restaurants. Redbox is a subsidiary of Coinstar Inc. In 2011 it owns over one third of market share of discs rented.
