Paphiopedilum liemianum (Lady s Slipper Orchid)

The name Paphiopedilum is derived from the Greek words Paphius and pedilon which means shoes. Lady's Slipper orchids are usually terrestrial but sometimes grow on trees. They originate from tropical Asia. P. liemianum is of Indonesian origin (Sumatra).
